COMMODITY MARKET OUTLOOK
SPDR Gold Trust GLD, the world's largest gold-backed exchange
traded fund, said its holdings stood at 823.36 tonnes, remain unchanged from
previous business day.
Holdings of
the largest silver backed exchange-traded-fund (ETF), New York's iShares Silver
Trust SLV, stood at 10617.12 tonnes, remain unchanged from previous business
day.
Industrial metals prices rose on Wednesday as recent losses,
falling stocks and expectations of stronger demand in top consumer China persuaded
buyers to return to the market.
Crude oil prices edged up for a fourth consecutive session on
Wednesday, close to their highest levels since mid-2015, ahead of U.S. oil
inventory figures and as the market awaits evidence of OPEC supply reductions
in the New Year.
